Wong Chi Yeng, Group Managing Director

Wong Chi Yeng currently leads Interesources Group as Managing Director. With over 39 years of professional experience, including her early career with Deloitte Malaysia where she began her professional journey, she has developed deep expertise in the Malaysian tax environment. Her experience spans industries such as construction, manufacturing, retail and wholesale, and technology. She has been actively engaged in tax consultation and has assisted clients in resolving disputes with the tax authorities.

In 2019, Chi Yeng assumed leadership of Interesources Group, guiding the firm through the challenges of COVID-19 and the resulting market uncertainties. She continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening the Group’s professional capabilities by providing coaching and mentoring to her team.

Chi Yeng is well-versed in both local regulations and Income Tax Act 1967, having participated in regulatory discussions, industry panels, and CPD courses. She has represented Interesources Group in dialogues with regulators to address transfer pricing matters, matters relating to implementation of e-invoicing, and matters relating to new PRU.

In 2017, Chi Yeng was appointed to JHM Consolidation Bhd’s board of directors and took on the role of Chairperson of audit committee and risk management committee, and she also sits in the nomination committee & remuneration committee of the group, driving growth of the listed group through her wealth of professional experience.

Loh Yan Yu, Director

Loh Yan Yu currently leads the Markets Department at Interesources Group. With over 9 years of professional experience, of which more than 3 years in a managerial role accumulated from KPMG and PwC, both locally in Kuala Lumpur and Europe, he specialises in accounting and assurances and has worked across industries including oil and gas (downstream), telecommunication, bioscience, plantation, mining, technology, manufacturing, wholesale and retail distributions spanning across sport, fashion, food and beverage, machinery, and consumables sector.

From 2021 to 2026, Yan Yu took the opportunity to grow his career in PwC Malta, Europe, a firm of 1,000 employees and the largest firm in the Country, where he led multiple audits as manager in charge of reputable multinational corporations. He has been actively involved in the auditing of corporate restructuring, merger and acquisition, and debt restructuring of companies with market capitalisation of up to $10B.

Yan Yu is well versed in both local regulations and international standards, having participated in various technical forum, professional courses, and industry workshop. He was also the driver of KPMG digitisation effort and was awarded KPMG Value SPOT award (individual category) in 2020.

In March 2026, Yan Yu was appointed to the firm’s Leadership Team and took on the role of Executive Director with a focus on markets, driving growth through strategic initiatives, client engagement, and market development.

Ooi Kiaw Kiat, Partner

Ooi Kiaw Kiat is the Partner of Interesources Management PLT. He is a Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA 43536) and graduated from University Utara Malaysia (UUM) in year 2010 with a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours).

Kiaw Kiat joined Interesources Group over 12 years ago and has since built extensive expertise across multiple domains, including Tax Compliance, Indirect Tax Audit, Internal Control Advisory, and Management Consulting in business operations, payroll, and accounting services. He has served a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from local entrepreneurial ventures and SMEs to public listed companies and multinational corporations, spanning industries such as manufacturing, property development, construction, trading, retail, food & beverage, and services.

He successfully completed a comprehensive Goods and Services Tax (GST) course prescribed by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, which provided him with a strong technical foundation in indirect taxation. Building on this expertise, Mr. Ooi is now highly proficient in the Sales and Service Tax (SST) regime currently applicable in Malaysia, advising clients across diverse industries on compliance, audit readiness, and operational implementation.

Prior to his tenure with Interesources Group, Kiaw Kiat accumulated four years of professional experience as an Auditor with a certified audit firms and has also accumulated professional working experience in Supply Chain Management with a multinational corporation.

Ang Chee Hwai, Director

Ang Chee Hwai is a seasoned Chartered Company Secretary with more than 20 years of professional practice in corporate governance and compliance. She pursued her tertiary education at the Systematic Business Training Centre in Kuala Lumpur and was admitted to Graduate Membership of The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) in 1998, advancing to Associate Membership in 2002.

Her career began with KOSEC Management Sdn Bhd, where she gained a strong foundation in corporate secretarial practice. Over the years, she has built an extensive track record advising businesses on statutory compliance, governance frameworks, and operational best practices.

Today, Chee Hwai serves as Director and Chartered Secretary of Interesources Secretarial Services Sdn Bhd (ISSSB). Under her leadership, ISSSB delivers a comprehensive suite of services including corporate secretarial support, management consultancy, and advisory solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients. Her commitment to professionalism, integrity, and practical guidance has earned her recognition as a trusted advisor to companies navigating Malaysia’s regulatory and business landscape.

Vennie Koay, Company Secretary

Vennie Koay is a Chartered Secretary with over 16 years of experience in the corporate secretarial profession. She joined the Firm in 2010 as an Assistant Secretary and has since progressed to her current role as Chartered Secretary. She holds a Bachelor of Business Management and is an Associate Member of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA).

Vennie currently oversees and manages a full range of corporate secretarial support services provided to a diverse portfolio of both local and foreign clients. Her responsibilities include advising on statutory compliance and corporate governance matters, maintaining corporate records, organizing board and shareholders’ meetings, and preparing board resolutions and minutes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
